Internal Job Description
Position Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Specialist with a strong focus on VAT and indirect taxes to join our tax team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely compliance with Mexican tax regulations, particularly in the context of a dynamic automotive supply chain serving both local and international OEMs. The position also supports continuous improvement, internal controls,



and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and file monthly VAT returns (IVA) and ensure compliance with all indirect tax obligations under Mexican law.Reconcile VAT accounts and ensure proper documentation for VAT recovery and credit balances.Ensure the accurate calculation and timely submission of all tax obligations.Monitor and implement changes from Mexican VAT and indirect tax legislation, ensuring timely and accurate updates to internal processes, looking for mitigation of tax risks.Assist in the preparation of documentation for SAT audits and reviews, including responding to information requests and maintaining organized records.Validate and manage electronic invoicing (CFDI) processes, ensuring compliance with SAT requirements and OEM-specific addenda.Support the correct application of VAT on imports and exports, including under IMMEX, and other trade facilitation prog
