The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for expanding the company’s client base in the electrical contracting sector. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, and industrial clients, and ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified projects for the sales and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Research construction projects, facility upgrades, and industrial developments where electrical contracting services are required.
- Identify and engage potential clients such as general contractors, architects, engineers, and property managers.
- Lead Qualification:
- Assess opportunities to ensure they align with the company’s service capabilities (commercial, industrial, residential, or specialty electrical work).
- Schedule site visits, consultations, and meetings for senior sales or project managers.

Relationship Building




- Develop and maintain strong relationships with construction firms, developers, and facility managers.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Pipeline Management
- Track bids, proposals, and project opportunities in CRM systems.
- Monitor construction industry databases and tender platforms for new opportunities.

Collaboration
- Work closely with estimators and project managers to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.

Performance Metrics
- Number of qualified project opportunities identified.
- Meetings scheduled with contractors, developers, and facility managers.
- Conversion rate from lead to awarded project.
- Contribution to overall revenue pipeline.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
