In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI, and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job. The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization.
Product engineers have the following responsibilities:
Collaborate and work in a team environment with Design, Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality and Reliability in all aspects of new product development, production release to accomplish goals and objectives
Design bench evaluation PCBs (printed circuit boards) and generating characterizations programs for bench evaluations
Perform evaluation,
debug and characterization of integrated circuits to ensure they meet the product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirements
Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures
Work with process and package technology development to develop and qualify technologies for new product development
Work closely with the integral manufacturing facilities to address customer specific product quality, yield management and cost reductions issues on mature products. Scope of work could include product spins and derivatives
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:
Bachelors in Electronic, Semiconductor or related Engineering field
New college grad 0-3 years of experience
Preferred qualifications:
Extensive hands on experience working with different lab equipment for taking data and / or performing device debug or failure analysis. For example use of the curve tracers; return loss analyzers, oscilloscope
