The Account Manager is an entry‑level client management role responsible for executing day‑to‑day account support and relationship management activities. The role focuses on client satisfaction, retention, sales expansion, and operational coordination. Success is measured by client responsiveness, data accuracy, issue resolution effectiveness, and contribution to overall account stability.
Responsibilities and duties
Account Support & Maintenance: Handle day-to-day commercial activities, price negotiations, engineering change notices (ECN), and RFQ submissions. Share of Wallet Growth: Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing and new platforms to increase Nidec products allocation against competitors.
Customer Relationship Management: Conduct regular Business Reviews (QBRs) and maintain deep operational touchpoints across engineering, quality, and purchasing departments.
Take full ownership of NPIs: Identify new opportunities, manage them through our CRM and lead the NPDR discussions with R&D; centers.

Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
0–2 of B2B technical sales/account management and business development experience in the home appliance or IT/Telecom sectors. Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
Proven track record of managing tier-one manufacturing accounts.
