Responsible for purchasing a wide variety of supplies or services while ensuring cost effective

and on time material availability. Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers and

negotiate prices, delivery, quality and service for goods and services required for business purposes.

- Coordinate, track, and provide status updates on the material since ordered until it is ready in stock.
- Investigate, resolve, and communicate issues that can affect material availability.
- Understands elementary problem-solving techniques.
- Own program/project schedule and task management.
- Plant to plant and supplier to supplier transitions.
- Identify needs for enhanced processes, methods, and tools providing solutions.

Education

Professional degree Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering related, preferably.

Experience

Desirable experience in Procurement, Materials Planning and Lean

Certifications

APICS (desirable)

Languages

Advance English Level

Familiarity with Microsoft projects, Power BI, ALM (JIRA) software's and time management tools

- Experience with process improvement and lean six sigma tools
- SAP proficiency
- Microsoft Office
