This is a full-time hybrid role forReinsurance Accounting and Claims Senior Analystbased in Mexico City, Mexico.
The role involves managing financial statements, working in accounting, premium and claim processing and collections, applying finance and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial and claims-related processes.
While the role is primarily office-based, some work-from-home days are adaptable.We will count on you to:Know and comply with US market regulations in reinsurance.Have knowledge of proportional and non-proportional reinsuranceProficiency in managing financial statements and performingPremium and Claims ProcessingFamiliarity with contract law and regulatory controlsHave knowledge of slips (claims from various reinsurers).
Build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients, and MarketsFollow up on activities that are in progress.Experience with accounting and finance-related activitiesExperience 2 – 3 years in Treaty ReinsuranceCommitted to mentoring colleagues and consistently delivering superior Client service.What you need to have:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field3 to 5 years of Experience in the reinsurance industryExcellent English written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced database management (experience with Power BI desirable)Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
