Finance Manager(Remote, LatAm) Paid in USDOur client is a talent marketplace representing speakers and content creators worldwide, with entities in the US and UK. They're a small, fast-moving team looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to own their day-to-day accounting and finance operations.This is a hybrid role: part finance manager, part accountant. You won't be filing taxes or preparing VAT returns (their outside accountants handle that), but you'll be the person who keeps the books clean, the bills paid, the invoices out, and the numbers right, every day, not just at month-end.What you'll doOwn day-to-day bookkeeping and the general ledger in QuickBooks Online, across their US and UK entitiesManage accounts payable: review and process supplier bills, expert/contractor payouts, and expense reimbursementsManage accounts receivable and credit control: release client invoices, chase payments, apply cash receiptsReconcile bank accounts, credit cards (Ramp), and payment processors monthlyOwn the monthly close and produce management accounts (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow)Run US payroll (Gusto) and coordinate with their UK accountants on UK payrollTrack and organize VAT/withholding tax records for their accountants, you won't file anything,



but you'll keep the books audit-readyBe the go-to finance contact for their sales and production teams on invoicing and payment questionsHelp improve and automate finance processes as the company grows, they use a mix of QuickBooks, Ramp, Gusto, Pipedrive, and their own internal systems, and they're looking for someone curious enough to learn and improve themWhat they're looking for3–5 years of hands-on accounting/bookkeeping experienceStrong QuickBooks Online skills (you'll be tested on this)Solid Excel skillsExperience working with either US or UK companies (you can learn the other side on the job)Comfortable working independently, you'll be the sole finance person on a small team, working closely with the COOTech-savvy and curious, happy to learn new tools and find ways to automate manual workFluent English (spoken and written) — you'll work directly with their UK/US team and outside accountantsBased in Latin America, ideally in a timezone close to UK/US working hours (some flexibility on start/end times possible)Nice to haveExperience in a talent, entertainment, media, or creative agencyExperience with commission-based revenue or split/payout accountingExperience with Ramp, Gusto, or PipedriveBackground at a startup or smaller firm rather than a large corporate environmentWhat's on offerFully remote roleRoom to grow, this role can expand as the company growsDirect exposure to leadership (you'll work closely with the COO and their fractional CFO)
