**GENERAL SUMMARY**:
The pilot run Engineer is responsible for coordinating the introduction of Pilot Runs, Prototype events, Marketing run, Dry Run, Start of production
and model year with the involved departments.
And ensuring that the vehicles are created right at the first time and on time.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Analyze the main changes between each model year, to identify the risks for the manufacturing portion.
- Adjust the sequence on the PLCS to schedule the activities according to the milestone, in order to have visibility of each activity.
- Follow up on the activities by department in order to have great execution.
- Establish the follow up governance at least eight weeks before each event, for both shifts (Prototype events, Pilot run, Dry Run, Start of Production)
- Establish the daily the material follow up three weeks before the activity for both shifts (Prototype events, Pilot run, Dry Run, Start of Production)
- Follow up on missing parts reported between Mexico, Finland, Canada, Queretaro with the planning department in order to create the BO'S, or Deviation needed.
- Establish the outcomes meetings on each event in order to communicate the risks to all levels and address the improvements to the right responsible.
- Follow up on the documentation of last minute changes (ECN, Deviation, plan B) and communicate with stakeholders about the change.
- Communicate the progress during each outcome assigned by the pilot run engineer.
- Flawless execution, (right the first time)
- The pilot run engineer is in charge of disposing the vehicles and parts used to validate the new processes, following the scrap process.
(Parts requested by NPD)
- Ensure that the vehicles are shipped on time, delivering the information on time to the stakeholders.
- Follow up on the file special request, (validations), in order to assure the validations on the site.
- Generate gap analysis reports on the NPD process.
- Extend the notion of one BRP to maintain consistent collaboration and open communication with stakeholders across BRP.
- Adhere to all of BRP'S Safety and quality standards.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Bilingual English & Spanish, conversational
- 3 years or more in a similar position.
- Experience leading projects, more than three years.
- Continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge in SAP.
