We are looking for a Test Tools Developer/Integrator to design, bring up, debug, and optimize automated test benches that validate complex product features for global automotive leaders.The Test Tools You Will Support & BuildSystem Validation Benches: Closed-loop HIL, re-injection HIL, system integration, Calibration, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing (CI/CT) BenchesEnvironmental & Compliance Testing: DV/PV/EMC test benchesVehicle Systems: Rest-bus simulations, vehicle recording systems, vehicle fit-outs, and ground truth reference systemsVirtual Validation: Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and virtual sensor modelsData Acquisition: Various injection and acquisition tools to collect test data, alongside custom software development for all systemsKey ResponsibilitiesAnalyze & Design: Review test automation requirements from System Validation, Mechatronic, and SW Test teams, and brainstorm with the integral TIAT team to design a standardized architectureHW/SW Integration: Manage hardware procurement, inventory control, and complete hands-on hardware/software integration of test setupPlanning & Estimation:



Create basic L3 timing plans for automation coverage readiness and provide reliable development effort and cost estimationsProject Tracking: Keep stakeholders updated on development stages or blockers, and work with the TIAT Team Lead to prioritize requestsQuality & Deployment: Validate and test the automation solutions thoroughly before release, create comprehensive technical documentation, and back up source code using SVN standardOn-Site Support: Coordinate logistics/shipments of equipment across sites and support the deployment of benches at our Troy location and off-site customer locations as neededMandatory Technical SkillsNI Ecosystem: HIGH, proven development experience in LabVIEW and TestStandProgramming: HIGH, proven proficiency with Python, C++, and CAPLProtocols & Networking: Deep experience with automotive protocols (CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN) and standard networking (Ethernet, TCP/IP, Switches)Audio Networking: Experience with A2B and Analog AudioTest Design: Proven experience in the design and development of end-to-end "Testing SolutionsSpecialization Tracks (We are looking for candidates matching either profile)Profile A (Vision Focus): Strong expertise in Image Processing, Video Pipelines, or ISP (Image Signal Processing).
