qualifications / experience

- bachelor's degree in international business, logistics, foreign trade, business administration, or a related field.
- intermediate to advanced written and verbal english communication skills.
- basic to intermediate proficiency in microsoft office applications.
- minimum of 2 years of experience in international trade, customs compliance, logistics, or a related area.
- knowledge of harmonized tariff schedule (hts) classification and hs codes.
- understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures is preferred.

key responsibilities

- coordinate and monitor daily activities within the assigned area.
- provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
- review and analyze data related to trade compliance, logistics, or operational processes.
- prepare, maintain, and verify documentation required for import/export operations.
- support the management of certificates of origin and related documentation.
- identify and apply applicable trade programs, preferential treatments, or regulatory benefits in accordance with established procedures.
- assist in maintaining compliance with customs regulations, internal policies, and company procedures.
- generate reports and provide recommendations based on operational and compliance data.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and compliant trade operations.
- perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
