The idóneo candidate has hands-on experience building modern frontend applications with react, node.js, and typescript while developing robust backend services, restful apis, and cloud-native solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across teams, and contributing throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

responsibilities

- design, develop, and maintain high-quality full stack applications using modern engineering best practices.
- collaborate with local and general engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives.
- develop scalable restful apis and event-driven services using node.js and typescript.
- build responsive and reusable frontend components using react and modern javascript frameworks.
- design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
- translate business requirements, technical designs, and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code.
- write clean, secure, well-documented, and testable code following engineering standards.
- design and implement automated unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
- perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.
- troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- create monitoring dashboards, metrics, alerts,



and logging to improve system observability.
- collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, ux, qa, and devops.
- mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions and design reviews.
- support ci/cd pipelines and modern software delivery practices.

requirements

- bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- 3–5 years of experience developing restful apis and backend services.
- 3–5 years of experience building event-driven applications.
- strong experience with:
- node.js
- typescript
- react
- javascript (es6+)
- redux

- solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms, and data modeling.
- experience designing and developing distributed applications and microservices.
- experience working with at least one object-oriented programming language such as:

- java
- go (golang)
- .net

- experience with aws cloud services such as:

- kubernetes (eks)
- lambda
- dynamodb
- elasticache (redis)
- cloudformation

- experience working with docker and linux environments.
- familiarity with kubernetes and container orchestration.




- experience implementing automated testing strategies.
- experience working with ci/cd pipelines.
- experience with monitoring and observability tools such as:

- new relic
- splunk

- strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- excellent verbal and written english communication skills.
- passion for software engineering, operational excellence, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

preferred qualifications

- experience building cloud-native applications on aws.
- experience designing scalable event-driven architectures.
- familiarity with infrastructure as code (iac).
- experience working in agile/scrum environments.
