Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize our Azure DevOps environment. This role is responsible for platform administration, user access, repositories, build and release pipelines, agent infrastructure, integrations, governance, and operational support.

The adecuado candidate has strong experience with Azure DevOps Services, Microsoft Azure, identity and access management, CI/CD practices, automation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Administer Azure DevOps organizations, projects, teams, permissions, and security groups.

Manage Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Test Plans.

Configure and maintain project settings, process templates, work-item workflows, dashboards, and notifications.

Manage Git repositories, branch policies, pull-request rules, and repository permissions.

Support YAML and classic build and release pipelines.

Configure and maintain Microsoft-hosted and self-hosted build agents and agent pools.

Manage service connections, variable groups, secure files, secrets, and pipeline environments.

Integrate Azure DevOps with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, GitHub, testing tools, and other enterprise systems.

Establish security standards, access controls, approval processes, audit procedures, and governance policies.

Monitor platform health, pipeline performance, agent capacity, storage, licensing, and usage.

Troubleshoot failed pipelines, access problems, repository issues, integrations, and platform incidents.

Automate administrative activities using PowerShell, Azure CLI, REST APIs, or other scripting tools.

Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, configuration standards, and disaster-recovery plans.

Provide technical support, training, and best-practice guidance to developers, testers, project managers, and operations teams.

Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, compliance reviews, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications





Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

[3–5]+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud administration, systems administration, or a related role.

Hands-on experience administering Azure DevOps Services or Azure DevOps Server.

Strong knowledge of Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, and Azure Artifacts.

Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and repository governance.

Experience creating and supporting CI/CD pipelines using YAML.

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, Microsoft Entra ID, role-based access control, and service principals.

Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or another scripting language.

Understanding of infrastructure as code, secure software development, and DevOps practices.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Experience administering Windows and Linux build agents.

Knowledge of containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Experience integrating security scanning, testing, and compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Experience supporting enterprise migrations to Azure DevOps.

Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert.
