Biology Expert (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your years of training in biology could directly shape how AI understands life sciences — from genetics and molecular biology to biotechnology and bioinformatics? We're looking for Biology experts with advanced degrees to tackle complex, real-world scientific problems that help train the next generation of cutting-edge AI models.

This is a fully remote, versátil contract role. You'll work asynchronously alongside leading AI researchers, applying your domain expertise to problems that actually matter — with no commute, no lab politics, and no rigid schedule.

What You'll Do

- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Design complex problem statements drawing on expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, depth, and rigor
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve model performance
- Ensure scientific clarity and precision across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are





- Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, etc.)
- Strong expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
- Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis
- Exceptionally clear written communicator — you can explain complex science without sacrificing accuracy
- Detail-oriented and methodical — scientific rigor is non-negotiable for you
- Fluent in English

Nice to Have

- Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows
- Background in research, academic publishing, or science communication
- Familiarity with bioinformatics pipelines, genomics tools, or computational biology methods
- Experience reviewing or peer-reviewing scientific work
