Role Description The Computer Vision Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Mexico City, Mexico. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision models and pipelines for real-world applications, from prototyping through production deployment. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing algorithms for image and video analysis, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, and integrating vision solutions into AI products.
The Computer Vision
Engineer will also work closely with founders and senior engineers to refine system architecture, ensure performance and reliability in production, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Continuous learning, experimentation,
and translating business requirements into robust technical solutions are core aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, with experience applying these skills to real-world datasets and products.
- Background in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience in Data Science, including data preprocessing, model evaluation, and experimentation workflows.
- Exposure to Robotics or related domains where perception, control, and real-time processing intersect is beneficial.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for computer vision and machine learning (e.g., Python, C++), and familiarity with frameworks such as OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Experience deploying models to production environments, optimizing performance, and working with cloud or edge-based architectures.
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-moving engineering environment, communicate technical concepts clearly, and take ownership of delivered work.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
