Role Description This full-time Consultor DSPM/Microsoft Purview role at Esteban Headhunter is a hybrid position based in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. The consultant will design, implement, and optimize data security posture management (DSPM) solutions and Microsoft Purview deployments for client organizations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing data governance and compliance needs, mapping business processes to technical solutions, and developing architectures that leverage cloud computing and Purview capabilities. The role involves leading discovery sessions, gathering requirements, preparing solution proposals and technical documentation, and guiding clients through configuration, integration, and adoption of DSPM and Purview features. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, provide training and knowledge transfer, and support continuous improvement of data protection, governance, and risk management practices.

Qualifications

- Strong consulting skills, with experience conducting client assessments, defining requirements, and delivering tailored DSPM/Microsoft Purview solutions.




- Solid understanding of business process analysis and optimization to align data governance and security controls with organizational objectives.
- Proficiency in solution architecture, including designing scalable, secure, and compliant data governance and protection frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) and related data security, compliance, and governance services.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate workshops or training.
- Practical experience implementing or managing Microsoft Purview or comparable data governance tools is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, local privacy regulations) and best practices in information security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid arrangement, collaborating with distributed teams and clients in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area.
