Role Description The Functional Consultant will work in a full-time hybrid role based in Monterrey, NLE, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. This role involves analyzing client business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and designing functional solutions that leverage Softype’s cloud business automation platforms.

The Functional

Consultant will configure systems, participate in testing, support user training, and provide ongoing post-implementation assistance to ensure successful adoption.



Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing client-facing documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of methodologies and best practices. The role also requires effective communication with stakeholders at various levels to align solutions with business goals and compliance needs.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and functional solution design.
- Experience with cloud-based ERP or business automation systems, including configuration, testing, and user support.
- Ability to create clear documentation, such as process flows, functional specifications, and training materials.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Relevant academic background in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior consulting, SaaS implementation, or similar client-facing experience is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with a hybrid work environment in Monterrey, NLE, and willingness to work with global teams and clients.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering practical, measurable business results.
