We are looking for a CSX / Master Data Specialist to support a large-scale Transfer of Work (ToW) / Network Enablement initiative across multiple manufacturing locations in the United States.
This role will be responsible for the operational and system-readiness activities required before production work, products, and related processes can be successfully transferred from one manufacturing plant to another.
The position combines Master Data Management, ERP readiness, project coordination, data validation, and operational execution. Each transfer will function as a small project, requiring the specialist to coordinate activities, maintain accurate system information, communicate across teams, and independently drive tasks through completion.
This is a highly hands-on role with repetitive but business-critical activities and significant travel to manufacturing facilities across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Transfer of Work (ToW) projects between manufacturing facilities.
- Create, maintain, review, and validate product and master data records within ERP systems.
- Ensure required project and product attributes are complete and accurate before transfers begin.
- Set up and maintain SKU/item records, customer information, packaging information, and other relevant master data.
- Support ERP readiness activities when transferring products or operations from one system or manufacturing facility to another.
- Review existing data, identify missing or incorrect information, and complete the required system setup.
- Coordinate pre-transfer and pre-production activities required before orders and shipments can begin.
- Manage assigned transfer activities as individual mini-projects, tracking tasks and ensuring completion within expected timelines.
- Work directly with sending and receiving manufacturing plants during transfer activities.
- Support the operational setup required prior to physical product/material shipments.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Pre-Press, Estimating, plant teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with ERP systems and understanding how product, customer, item, or operational master data is maintained.
- Experience with or exposure to ERP/business systems such as JDE, Radius, FlexLink, NetSuite, Label Traxx, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage individual projects and deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% of the time within the United States.
- Comfortable working directly from manufacturing/plant environments during project transfers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, or Master Data Management.
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Specialist, or Project Manager.
- Experience supporting ERP migrations, system transitions, manufacturing transfers, or Transfer of Work (ToW) initiatives.
- Experience coordinating activities between multiple manufacturing facilities.
- Exposure to customer setup, product/item setup, SKU management, packaging data, or related master-data activities.
