The Procedure Authorization Specialist manages the prior authorization process for medical procedures, ensuring timely patient access to necessary care. This role involves working closely with providers, patients, and insurers to obtain required approvals. Requires strong communication, organization, and understanding of medical procedures and insurance coverage.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the procedure prior authorization process.
- Obtain necessary patient information, medical records, and physician orders.
- Complete and submit authorization requests to insurance companies.
- Track authorization status and proactively follow up for timely decisions.
- Communicate authorization outcomes (approved, denied, pended) to clinic staff.
- Document all authorization activities and communications.
- Serve as a point of contact for procedure authorization inquiries.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses,



and other staff to facilitate the authorization workflow.
- Stay updated on insurance company policies and procedure authorization requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues related to procedure authorizations.

Requirements: -C2 English level (proficient communication is essential).

-2+ years of experience in customer service, appointment setting, or the healthcare field.

-Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

-Excellent interpersonal skills to provide a welcoming and professional client experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $23,000.00 per month
