The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets. This role will focus strongly on plastic injection/molding processes, line balancing, cycle time optimization, and continuous improvement within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise daily production operations and ensure compliance with the production plan.
Lead and manage production personnel according to operational requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and delivery standards.
Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
Analyze and improve line balancing, cycle times, and resource utilization.
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as PDCA and 8D.
Lead and support Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and Human Resources to resolve operational issues.
Ensure compliance with standardized work procedures and production standards.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
Follow up on recurring process issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Participate in projects focused on waste reduction,
cycle time improvement, and process optimization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong experience in plastic injection/molding processes.
Previous experience in production supervision, preferably within the automotive industry.
Knowledge and practical experience in line balancing and cycle time analysis.
Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies, particularly PDCA and 8D.
Practical knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.
Ability to analyze production KPIs and make data-driven decisions.
Experience leading and managing production teams.
Willingness to work on rotating shifts, with monthly shift rotation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, preferably with a Tier 1 supplier.
Previous experience working with Stellantis is a plus, but not a mandatory requirement.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
Experience leading continuous improvement projects, cycle time reduction, and process optimization initiatives.
