Location: Mexico (Hybrid)

Contract: September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027

Salary: MXN $45,000–48,000/month + Benefits

About the Role

DSV is looking for a Senior Java Support Engineer to provide expert-level application support for business-critical platforms. This role combines production support, performance optimization, incident management, and collaboration with DevOps, SRE, QA, and Development teams to ensure highly available and resilient applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Resolve complex production incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for critical application issues.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, stability, and reliability.
- Implement automated monitoring, alerts, and observability improvements.
- Develop and maintain Error Budgets for supported applications.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, SRE, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver permanent solutions.
- Lead support initiatives, root cause analysis,



and continuous improvement projects.
- Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Generate reports on support KPIs, incident trends, and application health.
- Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical training.

What We're Looking For
- 8–10 years of experience in Application Support or Technical Support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Azure, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with ITSM tools and the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira/Confluence).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and advanced English.
