We are looking for a Senior BI Platform Specialist & Architect to join our Americas team, with a focus on LATAM operations based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that combines strategic advisory, governance, and technical expertise, requiring someone who can operate effectively across business, product, and technical teamsYou will be the Power BI subject matter expert for LATAM, playing a key role in shaping the BI strategy, enabling users across the region, and ensuring the platform operates at its best.What You Will DoStrategic & Governance (60%)Partner with the Governance team to define and drive the Power BI strategy across LATAM, including workspace organization, report lifecycle, and adoption standardsAct as a BI Architect, providing guidance on platform architecture, design decisions, and long-term scalability of BI solutionsConduct workspace and report assessments to ensure alignment with governance policies and best practicesAct as the Power BI expert in cross-functional meetings with product teams, business stakeholders, and the CDAO organizationCollaborate with the Global Data team on governance initiatives, new releases, and platform updates, acting as the LATAM voice in integral conversationsSupport the Operations team in monitoring and managing Power BI Premium capacity to ensure optimal performance and availabilityLead monthly training sessions for Data users/teams across LATAM and deliver specific enablement workshops on a quarterly basisDrive self-service adoption by promoting best practices, standards, and toolsets across the widest possible audienceIdentify and proactively communicate technical risks that may impact service levels or timelinesTechnical (40%)Develop internal tools, dashboards and reports to support team needs and strategic initiativesBuild and participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new capabilities and approachesExecute and optimize SQL queries, interpret views,



and assess query performance across data platformsWork with GCP/BigQuery for data retrieval, storage, and distributionEvaluate and implement improved reporting and data visualization tools, keeping up with emerging BI trends and technologiesLeverage AI tools and assistants in day-to-day tasks to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, and accelerate deliveryWhat You Will Need to SucceedTechnical Requirements5-8 years of experience in a Data & BI roleExpert-level knowledge of Power BI, including: Advanced DAX, Data modeling, Premium capacity and Platform management, Performance AnalysisMedium to high proficiency in SQL, ability to write and optimize queries, understand views and performance across various databasesMedium to high experience with GCP, particularly BigQuery and Azure servicesExperience with data warehousing concepts and implementationExperience launching new Data & BI solutions in a corporate environmentDemonstrated use of AI-powered tools (e.G.
