Position: BUYER (INDIRECT)

responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement of indirect materials, goods, and services required to support the efficient operation of a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing plant. This position ensures the timely availability of products and services while optimizing costs, maintaining quality standards, and developing strong relationships with suppliers.

JOB SUMMARY

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.

Experience managing indirect procurement categories in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with supplier negotiations, quotation analysis, and cost reduction.

Experience working with SAP ( Desirable) or another ERP system.

Advanced English conversational skills proficiency.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural manufacturing environment.





-Automotive Tier 1 experience is a must

· It’s difficult to access the Plant- for this reason it´s important that the candidate must have her/ his own transportation or another alternative to get to this site.

Experience minimum 3- 5 years in automotive industry (must) as Quality Engineer in AUTOMOTIVE Tier 1 focus in airbags(ONLY ) :

Manage the purchasing process for indirect materials, services, supplies, and equipment required for plant operations.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best combination of cost, quality, delivery, and service.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

Request and analyze quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and issue purchase orders.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed delivery schedules, specifications, and commercial conditions.

Identify and implement cost-saving and cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing,



negotiations, supplier development, and process optimization.

Manage purchasing activities for categories such as MRO, PPE, tooling, office supplies, facility services, maintenance services, IT services, logistics, utilities, and other indirect

Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, Quality, Finance, HR, and other departments to understand purchasing requirements and priorities.

Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and approval processes.

Monitor purchase orders, delivery status, invoices, and discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, contracts, and documentation within SAP/ERP systems.

Support supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding processes.

Participate in supplier negotiations, contract renewals, and annual price reviews.

Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports related to spend, savings, supplier performance, and purchasing KPIs.

Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities for indirect purchasing.

Identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers, standardize products, and optimize indirect spending,products, and optimize indirect spending.

Ensure compliance with applicable automotive industry, safety, environmental, and company requirements.

Support new project launches and plant ramp-up activities by ensuring the timely procurement of required indirect materials, equipment, and services.
