Tasks and Qualifications:
The Role
This position will work with key functions (environmental and other technical functions, R&D;, etc.) in assisting with the development, communication and
execution of environmental projects that allow the company meet the requirements emitted by international regulations (RoHS, WEEE, REACH, etc), as
well as the monitoring of progress/deliverables and will develop reports or other materials communicating status. Also, will conduct assessments that will
provide environmental results on an ongoing basis to determine progress and identify regions needing improvement as required by the group's sustainability strategy.
Key Responsibilities




Development of the Dematic Carbon Footprint - Globally, and to define and monitor measures to reduce the carbon footprint.
Conduct life cycle assessments on all Dematic’s current and upcoming products in order to comply with group's requirements.
Conduct a more through analysis of Dematic current and future products to ensure we are and stay in compliance with the EU requirements of WEEE, RoHS and REACH (chemistries and toxic materials in products).
Provide technical or administrative support for sustainability programs or issues.
Assess sustainability initiatives from a technical perspective and perform research for special projects.
Track resources to support Dematic's sustainability strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field or equivalent
experience.
1-3 years of experience on Sustainability
Experience with GaBi or SimaPro
