The Staff Accountant supports the general ledger accounting team by performing journal entries, analysis and completing account reconciliations as assigned.
**Responsibilities**:
- Records and tracks assigned journal entries
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations
- Perform bank account reconciliations
- Resolve issues from reconciliations
- Monitor and maintain inventory accounts
- Support the periodical close process by completing assigned journal entries
- Prepare intercompany entries and account reconciliations
- Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
- Support external and internal audit process as needed
- Serve as backup for the accounting services specialists
- Perform various ad hoc projects and reporting as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2+ years accounting experience
- SAP experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, especially Excel).
