Ciena is searching for a talented accounts payable specialist to join Finance department of region Mexico and Central America.
Responsibilities: Completes payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices, elaborate cash flow and analysis of financial results.
Ciena is looking for an Accountant professional, that will be based in Mexico, to prepare, run, reconcile all data that is the base of the payroll activity in all CALA countries, where Ciena has employees. preparing the journal entries, ensure the benefits, are recorded, pay and accruals are recognized on a monthly base.
- Responsible of CALA payroll process and review (México, Argentina, Colombia).
- To ensure timely receipt and delivery of payroll data in accordance with payroll schedules
- Prepare monthly CALA payroll reconciliations
- Ensure accurate y timely compliance of all payroll & benefits payment




- Ensure compliance of all payroll tax & social security payments on time
- Attend payroll queries from employees
- Give support to HR with different requirements in the region
- Attend internal and external audits
- Responsible for the correct record in books of all payroll accounts for México & Argentina
- Responsible for payroll dispersion
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, actively listening and responding.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Customer and Target focused individual.
- Team player: ability to work with others collaboratively and to build trust.
- Highly-organized, self-starter
