**The Position**
The Institutional Research Analyst is responsible for conducting and analyzing research on California Intercontinental University's students, faculty, and staff. This includes collecting and analyzing data from various sources, preparing reports and presentations, and making recommendations for improvement based on research findings. The Institutional Research Analyst will also be responsible for collaborating with other departments to support data-driven decision-making.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Collect and analyze data from various sources, including student records, faculty and staff surveys, institutional data systems, Student Information System (SIS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
- Clean unstructured data sets, organize,
and analyze to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data management.
- Monitor institutional indicators and create relevant data visualizations.
- Generate reports on data insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Present summaries and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Admissions, Student Services, and Academic Affairs, to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in the development and implementation of assessment and accreditation plans for the university.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of institutional data systems and processes.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
**The minimum requirements**:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Sociology, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to collaborate effectively with colleagues in other departments and across the university.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the university, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and to meeting the needs of a diverse university community.
Pay: From $20,500.00 per month
