**The Position**
The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the technology infrastructure and services at California Intercontinental University. This includes installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to faculty, staff, and students. The IT Administrator will also be responsible for collaborating with other departments to ensure the effective use of technology across the university.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide support training, and guidance to faculty, staff,



and students on the use of technology.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Academic Affairs and Student Services, to ensure the effective use of technology across the university.
- Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in IT administration.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of the university's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay current on new developments in the field.
- Assist with the development and implementation of technology policies and procedures.
- Assist with the procurement of hardware and software.
- Other duties as assigned.
**The minimum requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Several years of experience in IT administration, preferably in higher education.
- Strong understanding of networking, systems administration, database administration, and security.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to users.
- Experience with IT project management and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Pay: From $16,400.00 per month
