**What do we expect?**
A person responsible for the planning, monitoring and control of the country's import and export operations, maximizing the customer service experience and executing the fulfillment of import tasks and other activities related to the international customs operational process, ensuring compliance with the associated regulations and legal requirements.
- Guarantee that the import process complies with the company's guidelines, as well as Local and International Regulations.
- Place/Monitor Purchase Orders to the supplier and coordinate its international logistics by contacting and negotiating with the required service providers, depending on the incoterm and mode of transportation.
- Be and serve as the main contact for service providers such as Customs Agents, Freight Forwarders, shipping or airline lines, transporters and other suppliers related to the import and export process.
- Review, control and manage the legal import file
- Review SAT DataStage files vs. Import Legal File
- Generate entries to the inventory system, as well as connect with the warehouse area for the entries and with the Finance area for the cost report (landed cost).




- Ensure compliance with the regulations associated with the process, local and international, as well as tariff and non-tariff requirements - Manage the obtaining of Import Permits from associated government entities
- Monitor shipments and arrival dates to send documents on time to Customs Agents and keep internal and external clients informed.
- Manage, record and control inventory in transit
- Coordinate transportation from port of entry to final destination in coordination with the Distribution team
- Calculate import taxes and request funds to pay these
- Carry out a Drawback and/or tax recovery process
- Manage and update import records in accordance with local legislation
- Support Foreign Trade Audit processes
- Prepare legal import declarations on behalf of the organization under the supervision and VB of the Coordination
- Respond and follow up on complaints related to the international logistics process
- Prepare KPIs for traceability of operations, costs, deliveries and payment to suppliers (Lead times, delivery cycles, payment management, among others)
- Identify areas of opportunity and propose improvements in established processes

**Position Requirements**:
Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in International Commerce or similar
Experience: 3 to 5 years
ERP/MRP management
Advanced office management
Management of OPEX, Lean, Six Sigma
Intermediate-advanced English
