**Azure Cloud DBA**
**Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop, and implement different database instances for the development and production environments in AZURE Cloud
- Monitor and maintain database security and database software
- Experienced with DMS (Database Migration Services) Tools to migrate data from On-premises to Cloud.
- Daily maintenance, monitoring, problem resolution and internal customer for production and dev support
- On-call for production databases
- Test, validate and implement performance and resource optimization improvements in consultation with AZURE development Teams
- Database & Application performance tuning
- Backup and recovery tools of AZURE & traditional backup & recovery tools
- Root cause analysis of production-related database issues
**Requirements**:




- 7+ years Database Administration experience with administering and supporting multiple different databases on Windows/UNIX/Linux platform
- 3+ years’ experience in AZURE RDS
- 3+ years’ experience with conducting performance tuning, backup/recovery, and scalability/capacity planning, in addition to SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX shell scripting
- 3 years IT troubleshooting/problem-solving experience
**ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH ESSENTIAL**(Will be evaluated).
**Job type**: Remote.
**Salary**: $95,000 gross.
