**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Source and purchase complex goods and services for the organization.
- Lead procurement projects and negotiations with strategic vendors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic vendors and suppliers.
- Implement procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for changes when necessary.
- Analyze market trends and stay up to date on industry news and developments.
- Mentor and coach junior buyers to ensure their professional development.
- Work with other departments to identify their purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to purchasing.
- Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with legal and ethical standards.Perform other related duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management,



or a related field.
- At least 4-8 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with strategic vendors and suppliers.
**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**
- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
