We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic HV Components Buyer to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the procurement process, focusing on High Voltage components essential for our cutting-edge automotive technologies. As an HV Components Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating favorable agreements, and ensuring cost ownership efficiency throughout the supply chain
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in automotive purchasing, specifically in High Voltage components.
Strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively internally and externally.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and quality requirements.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in procurement and supply chain management tools and software.
Strategic Procurement:
Develop and implement strategic plans for the procurement of High Voltage components aligned with organizational goals.
Supplier Management: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating agreements that balance favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
Pricing Catalog Management: Maintain an up-to-date pricing catalog, ensuring consistency with agreed-upon prices and terms.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, supplier performance, and industry dynamics to inform procurement strategies and decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to align procurement with project timelines and specifications.
Cost Ownership: Monitor and optimize total cost of ownership, analyzing and managing costs throughout the supply chain.
Supplier Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of suppliers to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous development.
Innovation and Compliance: Stay current with technological advancements, market changes, and regulatory requirements within the HV components landscape.
