We are looking for a new tribe member to act as a world-class engineer while being part of a distributed multi-cultural tribe to build the best fintech products to help thousands of companies. Pay special attention to the safety, privacy and other possible pitfalls while creating a product that clients love.
As a key member of our tribe, you'll drive software development with cutting-edge solutions supported by AI that continue our mission of providing international value-moving products such as our price predictive engine and our payments systems across multiple products. This is a remote position working with a local team. Will be required to be in office 3-4 days per quarter.
**As a Senior Back-End Engineer, You Will**
- Solve complex backend challenges, ensuring compliance, security, and scalability
- Develop high-performance, scalable systems for AI-driven prediction and automated payments
- Optimize MongoDB performance for a high-volume, real-time financial platform
- Enhance architecture and performance, ensuring smooth cross-border transactions
- Integrate AI-driven insights to optimize payments and recommend user actions
- Collaborate with business & product teams to design data-driven financial solutions
**Must-Have Technical Skills**
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development
- Expertise in MongoDB & NoSQL databases, optimizing large-scale queries
- Strong JavaScript & Node.js expertise for backend development
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable backend solutions
**Nice-to-Have Skills**
- Experience with Google Cloud & Cloudflare for performance and security
- Knowledge of basic front-end for optimized UI performance of our advertising systems
- Expertise in multi-currency payment systems & financial data handling
- Familiarity with machine learning & AI models
