Role Description We are building a flagship product to automate Regulatory Control Compliance. While the industry struggles with manual testing and spot-checks, we are building an engine that provides 100% coverage and real-time oversight. We need a Senior SME to be the Founding Member of our Risk & Compliance practice. Your first mission: Leading the automation of controls for FDIC Part 370.

You will define how AI monitors data health, detects drift, and ensures that the "recordkeeping" stays compliant every single day, not just during an audit.

1.

Control

Automation (The Product)

- Control Design: Translate FDIC 370 recordkeeping requirements into automated "digital controls."
- Data Integrity Oversight: Design the logic that flags inconsistencies between the Core Banking System, the Information Technology System (ITS) and System of Records.
- Edge Case Logic: Build the "exception management" workflows for when the AI detects missing beneficial ownership data or improperly coded trust accounts.
- Continuous Monitoring: Shift the bank from "point-in-time" audits to a continuous compliance posture through our AI engine.

2.

Practice

Building (The "Broad View")

- Practice Architecture: As a founding member, you will help design our firm's broader Risk & Regulatory framework. You will identify the next legacy process we should disrupt with AI.
- Regulatory Horizon Scanning: Apply your broad knowledge of the regulatory landscape (e.g., AML/KYC, Basel III/IV, etc.) to ensure our products are built with a "universal" compliance mindset.
- Client Engagement: Act as the trusted advisor to bank stakeholders (CROs, CCOs), demonstrating how our AI-enabled approach reduces their "cost of compliance" while increasing accuracy.

Technical Skills

1.

15+ years of experience in Risk and Compliance in U.S.

Banking

Risk, Regulatory Compliance, or Deposit Operations.

2. 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience with FDIC Part 370, including implementation, testing, remediation, or audit support.
3. Deep working knowledge of U.S. deposit products (DDA, fiduciary accounts, trusts, brokered deposits).
4. Proven experience with Core Banking System to Standard Data File (SDF) transformation and recordkeeping validation.
5. Strong understanding of Three Lines of Defense (3LoD) and regulatory control frameworks.
6. Demonstrated experience designing, validating, or automating regulatory controls.
7. Hands-on familiarity with bank data architecture, including identification of Authoritative Data Sources (ADS), data lineage, and reconciliation logic.
8. Ability to translate regulatory requirements into structured, auditable control logic suitable for automation.

Nice-to-have skills

- Translational intelligence - seamlessly bridges regulator, banker, and technologist conversations.
- Systems-level analytical thinking - anticipates data gaps, edge cases, and control failures.
- Builder's mindset - defines automation logic, not just recommendations.
- Executive presence under scrutiny - credible with CROs, CCOs, and regulators.
- Influence without authority - challenges legacy processes constructively.
- Ownership in ambiguity - thrives as a founding member in evolving environments.

QualificationsCompany Value We value diversity at Incedo. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
