As a Sr. Engineer (System QA) - System and Platform QA, we look towards you as a key resource with very good understanding of Network layer L2 to L7 and Linux OS, Python automation, Routing/Switching, Virtualization, Docker/k8s, and Cloud (AWS, Azure).

As part of the System and Platform QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality of next generation products and solutions.

- Develop and drive effective test strategy and clear concise test plan; execute feature & system level test cases.
- Track software defects and validate the resolution through the entire project release.
- Test automation using Python.
- Install, configure, and maintain the virtual test environment.
- Apply specialized expertise in understanding issues, research and provide solutions.
- Work with engineering and support teams on improving product quality, and recreation of customer reported issues.
- Share responsibility for improving testing methodology, processes, strategies, and techniques; incorporate these improvements into the overall testing process.
- Ability to lead a team of junior engineers,



mentor them and coordinate with dev teams. Communicate Test strategy, test process, and Test Results to Management and cross functional teams.

Experience:

- Experience in System testing, Manual testing, and Automation using Python.
- Good understanding and experience of network product/protocol testing.
- Exposure to virtualization (VMware, KVM) along with NIC virtualization techniques like SR-IOV, virtio, vmxnet3.
- Good understanding of VLAN (802.1Q), Trunk, LACP, static route, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, HA, L2-L7 protocols, TCP/UDP, OSI layers, HTTP/HTTPS.
- Experience in software test execution, documentation.
- Good knowledge on Defect Tracking & Management Tools like Jira.
- Working experience with Network Security feature is a plus.
- Experience with hypervisors; for example, VMware, ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and KVM.
- Exposure to cloud testing AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

Qualifications

- 4-6 years of work experience in the relevant field.
- B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred.
