We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Automation Tester**with a strong background in **Java**to join our Data Quality team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through efficient and advanced test automation practices. Collaborating with a global team, you will work on challenging projects that require exceptional problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
**Responsibilities**
- Design, develop and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks using Java
- Implement and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Conduct manual and exploratory testing when automation is not feasible
- Create detailed test designs and strategies aligned with project requirements
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across regions (US, EU, India) to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution
- Continuously assess and improve testing processes and tools
- Provide mentorship and share best practices in test automation with team members
- Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Analyze test results and report on key metrics to stakeholders
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Test Automation
- Experience in one or more programming languages (Java/Python/TypeScript)
- Expertise in using and configuring test automation tools for UI and/or API testing, such as Playwright or Rest Assured
- Background in manual testing, exploratory testing, and test strategy creation
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a distributed team across different time zones
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English (B2 level or higher)




- Flexibility to work significant hours overlapping with the US team (8 am-2 pm ET)
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with advanced automated testing tools such as Playwright and/or Rest Assured
- Background in implementing GitHub Actions or Jenkins for automated testing workflows
