Role purpose:

The HR Director serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders in Mexico, ensuring alignment between people strategy and business objectives. The role is accountable for delivering core HR processes, strengthening organizational capability, and driving a consistent employee experience across the Mexico organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent & Performance Management

Lead and execute end‑to‑end talent processes to build leadership capability and support business priorities.

- Guide leaders through annual objective‑setting aligned with business strategy.
- Ensure high‑quality, fair, and consistent performance evaluations.
- Facilitate talent reviews to identify high‑potential employees and development actions.
- Provide insights on organizational capability needs and succession planning.

2. Compensation & Rewards Manage annual compensation cycles and provide ongoing guidance on pay‑related matters.

- Partner with leaders during annual salary and bonus review cycles.
- Ensure decisions reflect internal equity, performance outcomes, and general guidelines.
- Provide market insights and compensation recommendations as needed.

3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Support hiring needs and ensure a strong talent pipeline for Mexico.

- Partner with leaders to define role requirements and create requisitions.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure pipeline quality and speed.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate fit.
- Lead offer development and negotiation.
- Ensure a structured and effective onboarding experience.

4. Employee Lifecycle Management





Manage critical moments across the employee lifecycle.

- Oversee voluntary and involuntary exit processes.
- Partner with leaders and legal counsel to ensure compliant and well‑managed transitions.
- Support communication and change management during employee departures.

5. Payroll Administration Ensure accurate and timely payroll operations for Mexico.

- Coordinate with global payroll teams.
- Review and approve monthly payroll inputs and outputs.
- Resolve payroll issues and ensure compliance with local regulations.

6. Audit & Compliance Support internal and external audit requirements.

- Provide documentation for financial and corporate governance audits.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, labor, and internal policy requirements.

7. Benefits & Employee Value Proposition Manage benefits programs and support the local employee value proposition.

- Administer health and life insurance programs in partnership with Mercer.
- Communicate policy updates and enhancements to employees.
- Manage employee additions and terminations based on employment changes.

8. Culture, Engagement & Organizational Health Strengthen organizational culture and employee experience.

- Analyze climate and engagement survey results.
- Partner with leaders to define and execute action plans.
- Support initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational health.

9. Leadership Alignment & Business Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to Mexico leadership.

- Participate in leadership committee meetings.
- Provide HR insights to inform business decisions.
- Align people strategy with organizational priorities and future capability needs.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.




- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in multinational environments.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience managing payroll and benefits programs in Mexico.
- Demonstrated capability in talent management, performance processes, and organizational development.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and operate as a strategic business partner.
- Strong communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
