: Director of Recruitment - North America
Location: Guadalajara // Ciudad de Mexico
Reporting to: General Manager LATAM

As part of our global growth, we are seeking a Senior Recruiting Manager based in Guadalajara to lead high-volume talent acquisition across both Mexico and the United States.
II. Position Summary The Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for overseeing all recruitment efforts for Mexico and U.S. operations, ensuring Avantive attracts, hires, and retains the talent necessary to support current operations and future growth objectives.
This role requires executive-level leadership, strategic vision, and operational excellence. The Director will own the talent acquisition strategy, recruitment budget, sourcing investments, workforce planning initiatives, and recruiting performance across multiple regions.
The Director will partner closely with Executive Leadership, HR, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams to develop scalable hiring strategies, strengthen employer branding, improve candidate quality, and ensure recruiting efforts are aligned with business objectives.
This is a high-impact leadership role that demands strong business acumen, cross-cultural collaboration, labor market expertise, and the ability to lead large-scale hiring initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
III. Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall talent acquisition strategy for both Mexico and U.S. operations
- Own the recruiting budget; monitor spend, ROI, vendor performance, and cost-per-hire across all sourcing channels
- Ensure alignment between recruiting initiatives, workforce planning, and Avantive’s global growth strategy
- Partner closely with Executive Leadership, HR, Operations, and Finance teams to forecast hiring needs and support business expansion plans
- Drive workforce planning initiatives to proactively address staffing needs across programs, clients, and locations
- Identify attrition drivers and recommend improvements to hiring profiles, selection processes, onboarding, and candidate experience
- Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, employment regulations, and hiring practices in both countries
- Lead, mentor, and develop recruiters, and support staff while creating a high-performance recruiting organization.
- Establish recruiting KPIs, accountability measures, and performance standards across all recruiting functions
- Ensure strong, data-driven reporting on hiring performance, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, funnel conversion, quality of hire, and recruiting productivity
- Standardize and improve recruiting processes across regions to maximize efficiency, scalability, and candidate quality
- Monitor labor market trends, competitor hiring practices, compensation benchmarks, and emerging recruitment technologies
- Bring innovative ideas and strategic recommendations regarding sourcing strategies, talent attraction, automation, AI tools, and recruiting operations
- Partner with Marketing and HR to strengthen Avantive’s employer brand and candidate attraction strategies
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership regarding talent market conditions, workforce availability, and recruiting risks
IV. Qualifications & Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-volume recruiting, talent acquisition, or workforce planning, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role / Director Role
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
- Fully bilingual (Spanish/English), with strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Proven success leading large-scale, high-volume recruiting organizations supporting both Mexico and U.S. operations
- Experience managing recruiting budgets, vendor relationships, sourcing investments, and workforce planning initiatives
- Demonstrated success building and scaling recruiting teams in fast-paced,
growth-oriented environments
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), recruiting technologies, and talent analytics platforms
- Strong understanding of both Mexico and U.S. labor markets, employment practices, compliance requirements, and competitive dynamics
- Experience in high-volume recruiting within call center or BPO.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions and recruiting performance
- Strong leadership, organizational, strategic planning, and change management skills
- Experience partnering directly with executive leadership on workforce strategy and organizational growth initiatives
- Willing to travel as needed to Mexico City sites; valid U.S. visa preferred but not required
