Job Summary:
Oversees the negotiation, structure and administration of contractual documents that establish business relationships with suppliers for purchasing of products for re-sale to customers.
Ensures favorable terms and volume discounts are negotiated that comply with company policies and procedures, legal requirements and/or other specifications.
Principal Responsibilities:
Manages the activities and staff involved in purchasing and procurement of goods and supplies, equipment, services, systems, software or technical equipment for the re-sale to customers.
- Manage stakeholders across business functions, including sales teams, supplier management and marketing; ensuring alignment on business strategy.
Develops, documents, implements and coordinates procurement activities company-wide to maximize scale efficiencies and deliver industry-leading effectiveness. Ensures procurement strategy aligns with company strategy.
Develops and negotiates contracts, and implements and monitors procurement processes to ensure efficient execution and best in class acquisitions. Minimizes the company's risk exposure to finance, audit and legal issues.
