Bilingual Project Engineer - Low Voltage Systems
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Bilingual Project Engineer (English/Spanish)** to support our Low Voltage Division. This role involves working closely with project managers, vendors, and clients to support estimating, documentation, and execution of construction projects.
This position requires strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and professional communication in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates for low voltage systems (security, AV, data, fire alarm, etc.).
- Utilize estimating software to develop accurate budgets and project proposals.
- Review construction drawings and specifications to identify scope, discrepancies, and clarifications.
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical documentation.
- Support project managers with procurement, scheduling, and field coordination.
- Manage and update documentation in Procore (RFIs, submittals, drawings, correspondence).




- Assist with quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with low voltage systems in construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Procore or similar project management platforms preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in U.S. construction projects.
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, and low voltage installation standards.
Language Requirement
Advanced English proficiency required.
Interviews will be conducted in English.
Sueldo: $18,000.00 - $28,000.00 al mes
