A planner is responsible for creating and implementing plans and schedules for various projects or events. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively prioritize tasks, communicate with team members, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget **.**The planner should have strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems and adapt to changes in plans.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create and maintain project schedules using project management software
- Develop project plans including defining goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with project team members to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed
- Monitor and control project progress, identify risks, and develop contingency plans
- Evaluate and recommend project resources to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget
- Ensure that project documentation and communication channels are in place and up-to-date
- Conduct project post-mortems and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field




- 2-4 years of experience in project planning or management
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsKnowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**
- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
