**Job Summary**
We are seeking 5+ years experienced **Senior Roadway Design Engineer** and **Senior Drainage Design Engineer**professionals to **design**site development and infrastructure projects in US.
The engineers will have to be comfortable using Imperial units (feet and inches, acre, square feet). The engineer will need to have High Speed Internet, Computer with Civil 3D Imperial, and English Proficiency are required.
**Senior Roadway Design Engineer Duties**
- Lead the grading and roadway design of site development projects (commercial and residential lots) ensuring compliance with City Roadway Design Manual and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, state transportation standards, and AASHTO best practices.
- High Experience in grading commercial and residential sites and parking lots with understanding to onsite drainage flows.
- Ability to grade ditches/swales and Detention Ponds.
- Ability to prepare sight distance triangles and fire truck turning plans.
- Utilize advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D (Imperial) and drafting to produce detailed design drawings including feature line, corridor, contours, plans and profile sheets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (drainage and wet utiliy engineers) to optimize design and site constraints
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations while incorporating innovative solutions for transportation infrastructure projects.
- Maintain quality control through rigorous review of CAD drawings, GIS data, and project deliverables before submission.
- Ability to speak and write in english
**Senior Drainage Design Engineer Duties**
- Lead the drainage design of site development projects (commercial and residential lots)



ensuring compliance with City Drainage Design Manual and best practices.
- Experience in understanding contours and ability to draw drainage areas **manually**for pre and post development for small commercial and residential sites.
- Experience in using SCS method to compute flow rates and time of concentration (sheet, shallow, and channel)
- Experience in designing ditches/swales
- Experience in designing detenion pond
- Utilize advanced CAD and Hydraulic software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D (Imperial), Flowmaster, SewerGems/StormCAD, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS to produce detailed design drawings and profiles.
- Collaborate with roadway engineer to optimize design and site constraints
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations while incorporating innovative solutions for transportation infrastructure projects.
- Maintain quality control through rigorous review of CAD drawings and project deliverables before submission.
- Ability to speak and write in english
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
- 5+ Years of experience in Grading (For Roadway Engineer)
- 5+ Years experience in Drawing Drainage Areas and Flowrate Calculations (For Drainage Engineer)
- Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles applied to transportation and drainage infrastructure development.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D - IMPERIAL
- Excellent project management capabilities combined with team leadership skills to oversee multiple concurrent projects successfully.
- Excellent English Speaking and Reading Skills
