About the Role
At Trilled Soluciones , we connect exceptional talent in Mexico with high-growth companies in the United States. We've helped hundreds of professionals build meaningful careers while supporting products that power real businesses.
We're looking for a Tracking & Tracing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, communicates clearly in English, and takes pride in keeping freight moving on schedule across North America. This role is critical to load visibility — you'll be the eyes and ears on every shipment, working closely with carriers, drivers, and internal planners to make sure every pickup and delivery is accounted for in real time.
If you're detail-obsessed, calm under pressure, and energized by ownership, this role is for you.
About the Client
Evans Transportation Services is a Waukesha, Wisconsin-based third-party logistics (3PL) provider with over 40 years of experience delivering end-to-end transportation management solutions across North America. As one of the country's first 100 licensed freight brokers, Evans has grown into a sophisticated, technology-driven 3PL offering Full Truckload, LTL, Parcel Optimization, Project Logistics, and cross-border Mexico services.
Evans is known for quick response times, carrier invoice auditing, and a highly configurable TMS that gives shippers real transparency across their supply chain. The Managed Operations team relies on tracking specialists to keep loads visible, customers informed, and exceptions handled before they become problems.
What You'll Do
- Track every assigned load through the TMS, email,
and phone — keeping the load dashboard updated with arrival times, departure times, and location updates throughout the day.
- Acknowledge notifications from carriers and partners promptly, registering all load information received from drivers or dispatchers in the system with detailed, accurate notes.
- Confirm pickups and deliveries, reaching out to carriers ahead of time to verify shipping hours and confirm load readiness.
- Place check calls to drivers and dispatchers to request ETAs and current location updates.
- Forward PODs and other load-related documentation to the appropriate internal department.
- Identify, communicate, and escalation issues or events to your point of contact, working with planners to resolve them quickly.
- Communicate proactively across the Managed Operations team to flag any load that's at risk and keep the team aligned on status.
- Maintain availability across email, Teams, and 3CX during your shift, responding to urgent requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in track & trace, dispatch, logistics operations, or freight customer service.
- Advanced English communication skills,
both written and spoken — non-negotiable for daily carrier and team communication.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. geography (states, major lanes, key freight markets).
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.
- Sharp attention to detail — accuracy in load updates and notes is critical.
- Strong stress and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple loads at once.
- Reliable problem-solver with proven follow-through.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Mercury Gate or other TMS platforms.
- Background working with U.S.-based carriers, brokers, or 3PLs.
- Experience generating reports and analyzing load data.
Who You Are
- Calm, organized, and detail-oriented — you don't let things slip.
- Proactive: you reach out before you're asked and escalation before problems grow.
- A clear communicator across phone, email, and chat.
- Comfortable working remotely within a structured, process-driven team.
- Collaborative across departments and time zones.
- Looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a company that respects your expertise and gives you room to grow.
