The Business ARC Senior Analyst is part of Castrol Mexico’s Accounting, Reporting and Control (ARC) organization and is responsible for supporting accounting and financial reporting activities while ensuring compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in driving operational improvements, analyzing financial performance, strengthening controls, and providing business insights that support effective decision-making across the organization.
Job Summary
- Apply accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support and optimize accounting processes and financial operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct business process control reviews to identify control gaps, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, employing analytics, automation,



and digital tools to enhance business processes.
- Prepare, validate, and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, demonstrating strong commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
- Ensure internal control and compliance frameworks are effectively implemented, monitored, and maintained.
- Apply data analysis techniques to generate insights and support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Support the delivery of accounting, reporting, and control activities in alignment with business objectives and governance requirements.
