People Operations Manager About Kontempo Kontempo is building the financial operating system for B2B commerce in Mexico. We help suppliers automate trade credit, payments, and financial workflows so they can grow sales while managing risk. We're a fast-growing fintech backed by leading investors and work with some of Mexico's largest industrial companies. We're looking for a People Operations Manager who enjoys building teams, creating efficient processes, and helping a growing company run smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves execution, takes ownership, and is energized by supporting managers and employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This role reports to our VP of Finance & Operations and works closely with the CEO and leadership team. What You'll Own You will lead all day-to-day people operations, including: Own the full recruiting process from sourcing through offer acceptance. Coordinate onboarding so every new employee has a great first experience. Manage offboarding processes professionally and efficiently. Administer performance review cycles,



promotions, and compensation changes. Maintain employment agreements, contractor agreements, and HR documentation. Coordinate with legal, payroll, and external providers to ensure compliance. Manage relationships with recruiting agencies and external HR partners. Maintain employee records, policies, and internal documentation. Organize team events and initiatives that strengthen our culture. Partner with managers to improve hiring quality and team performance. Continuously improve our people processes as the company grows. What We're Looking For 5-8 years of experience in HR, People Operations, Talent, or a similar role. Experience at a startup or high-growth company is strongly preferred.
