At Molex, we are seeking a Junior Operational Excellence Engineer to support continuous improvement initiatives at our Nogales site. This position will contribute to high-impact projects related to operational transformation, plant expansion, facility layout redesign, material flow optimization, resource efficiency, and process improvement. Our Team

You will be part of a team that drives operational improvements and transformation projects at the site, working closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, Materials, Quality, Finance, EH&S;, and other key functions. This role reports to the Operational Excellence Manager and participates in initiatives that support business growth and efficiency.

What You Will Do

Support continuous improvement projects focused on operational efficiency, cost savings, and resource optimization.
Analyze processes, operational metrics,



and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
Contribute to facility layout redesign and material flow optimization as part of site expansion efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements in production and operational processes.
Provide support for activities related to master data and SAP processes, a critical component for the function.
Contribute to initiatives related to organization, standardization, 5S, and digital transformation within operations.
Assist in tracking KPIs and implementing corrective or improvement actions on the shop floor.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree (completed or in final stage) in Industrial, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Interest in developing a career in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or manufacturing.
Intermediate English for professional communication.
Ability to work on-site in Nogales.
