Summary

Tax Compliance Accountant In charge of monthly and annual tax calculations, including Income Tax (IT), VAT, IEPS (Excise Tax on products and services) , VAT WHT, IT WHT. As well, he prepares and analyzes informative returns, Annual formats filling, Tax opinion format filing, and gathers and analyzes information for tax requirements when needed.

Position Responsibilities

In charge of processing monthly tax payment calculation. Tax analyst should be qualified to download information from GL, AP and other systems in order to proceed with calculations. As well, he should have intermediate to high level understanding of monthly tax determination. He is charge of filling and filing tax formats before the Authorities. Keeps good documentation of monthly and annual work papers calculations Elaborates annual tax return calculations and Tax opinion return formats integration, and format filling according to tax provisions in force. As well he is charge of determining monthly and quarterly tax projections that will be based for corporate decision-making.
Gathers, prepares,



processes and analyzes the information required to determine monthly and annual informative returns, including correct formats filling.
Prepares tax calculations determined under cash flow basis, based in week information provided by AP (weeks review),audit sales, GL, treasury and other departments information. Reviews and verifies the integrity of accounting records, and follow up corrections with corresponding users of all departments.
Supports with US end of period accounting closure and GL records reviews, updates and changes. As well, supports with tax requirements information gathering in order to file to Authorities. Calculates interests and royalties withholding taxes to companies abroad.
Assists with any special projects required by tax manager and verifies new tax procedures when applicable.

Position Requirements

Level of Formal Education:A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
