DESCRIPTION:PR Manager, Amazon Devices Mexico

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes Mexican media culture, knows how to turn a product launch into a cultural moment, and thrives in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment. This is a rare opportunity to shape how Mexicans discover and fall in love with products like Alexa, Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, Ring, Blink and Amazon Leo - working at the intersection of technology, culture, and storytelling, building campaigns that resonate locally while connecting to a general brand.

Key job responsibilitiesWhat You'll Do

Shape the narrative. Develop and lead proactive creative PR campaigns, delivering clear, results-focused reports linked back to business goals. Plan and execute product and service launches with precision, measuring success against pre-defined objectives.

Build strong partnerships. Work with external PR agencies to develop and implement proactive PR plans for devices and services. Become the go-to Amazon voice for Mexico's top tech and lifestyle journalists, building relationships that deliver results over the long term.

Move at the speed of news. Turn fast-moving news cycles into opportunities - protecting and elevating Amazon's reputation as an innovator in real time,



and successfully navigating complex, unexpected communications challenges.

Connect the dots across Amazon. Collaborate with PR teams across Amazon - from Stores to AWS to Prime Video - to maximize opportunities and implement holistic, integrated campaigns.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field- Experience in media relations and issues management- Experience in written and spoken English and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses- Experience with consumer media (news, technology, broadcast)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Deep knowledge of Mexico media topics and trends- Proactive, takes responsibility and makes things happen- Creative campaign development skills- Strong attention to detail and quality standards- Adaptable in fast-paced corporate environment- Inspires and motivates agencies- Executive thought leadership experience- Autonomous multi-project management- Knowledge of emerging communications channels and content creators- Comfortable using AI tools for research and content creation
