About the role

As a

Senior Data Engineer , you will apply advanced technical knowledge and enterprise-focused thinking using AI and automation to achieve strategic enterprise objectives. You'll serve as a technical leader who coaches team members, influences business and regulatory requirements, and drives AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable organizational value.In this role, you'll identify innovative reusable solutions, investigate complex technical challenges, and develop strategic data solutions with a cross-functional perspective. You'll create advanced automated frameworks, design platform features, and use storytelling techniques to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups while significantly impacting our Data Engineering strategy.Responsibilities:

Experience & EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative discipline; Master's degree preferred5-8 years of experience in data engineering with proven track record of technical leadershipDemonstrated experience building enterprise-scale data solutions and frameworksExperience mentoring engineers and influencing technical strategyTechnical Skills & CompetenciesAdvanced Programming : Expert Python skills including inheritance, reflection, meta-programming, and advanced design patternsFull-Stack Capabilities : Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end data solution developmentBig Data & Streaming : Expert knowledge of Apache Spark, PySpark, Kafka, and distributed computing conceptsAzure Services : Deep proficiency in Azure data services (Databricks, Azure Functions, Event Hubs), architecture, and cloud-native solutionsData Modeling : Advanced expertise in relational database design, star schema modeling, and data warehousing conceptsAI/Automation : Proven experience implementing AI-powered solutions and automation frameworks at enterprise scaleArchitecture : Strong system design and architecture skills for complex data solutions and microservicesCore Competencies AssessmentTechnical Skills (35%) : Full-stack development, Azure proficiency, data modeling expertise, AI solution implementationProblem-Solving (30%) : Framework development, AI solution ownership, platform feature design, complex system debuggingCommunication (20%) : Mentoring experience, technical leadership examples, strategy contributions, consensus buildingLearning & Growth (15%) : Enterprise project experience, AI expertise, process improvement track recordWhat we can do for you:
