DESCRIPTION:Lead the execution of the Learning & Development strategy for the Mexico sub-region, within the strategic framework defined by leadership. Own program delivery, team management, and the measurement of training impact on operational results.
Key job responsibilities- Owns strategy execution within a defined framework.- Contributes to sub-regional strategic planning and influences their team's roadmap.- Translates operational pain points into learning solutions.- Manages launch readiness for Learning regarding new sites/processes and conducts delivery quality audits with associated corrective actions.- Defines and tracks metrics measuring team progress, associate experience, and operational excellence.- Develops mechanisms to report on training effectiveness.- Leads regional and national-scope programs.- Independently manages a team of staff and managers; hires talent; and oversees onboarding, calibration, and high/low-performance management within the region.- Shares responsibility with other regional Learning Managers for best practices and cross-functional initiatives, and presents decisions and results to leadership up to three levels above.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering,
or another technical field- Experience working with cross-functional teams- Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics- Speak, write, and read fluently in English- Experience building and managing teams- Experience in a high volume, high production operations environment- Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions, or experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel- Knowledge of general AI tools- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)- Degree in a related field (Educational Psychology, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Data Science, or training-related)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience focused on Adult Learning Theory, including 1) virtual training facilitation and dealing with remote teams, and 2) delivering Soft Skills, Technology Skills and/or Technical or other Systems training- Experience with creating & improving a variety of processes across product types & teams- Experience with explainable machine learning and artificial intelligence methodologies and tools- MBA and L&D; certifications.
