This role is idóneo for a CFO who thrives incompetitive environments, balances strategy with execution, and has a proven ability todrive profitability, scale operations, and support complex growth initiativesincluding M&A;, capital projects, and international operations.The CFO will join the executive team—providing insight, structure, and financial discipline while enabling growth.ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipPartner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute long-term strategic plans, including growth initiatives, acquisitions, and operational scaling.Translate business plans into integrated financial models, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs tailored to multi-location and seasonal operations.Lead enterprise-level financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluation to support data-driven decision-making.Provide scenario analysis and ROI modeling for:New facility launchesProgram and pricing decisionsMarketing spend and customer acquisitionStaffing and capacity planningFinancial Operations & PerformanceOversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities across multiple entities.Ensure financial and operational compliance.Implement proactive cost management and margin improvement initiatives to drive sustained profitability.Develop dashboards and performance reporting that connect operational KPIs to financial outcomes.Manage relationships with external investors.Secure and manage financing for growth initiatives and capital projects.Oversee treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, debt restructuring, and FX strategy (as applicable).

Process & ScaleBuild scalable financial systems and processes.Improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight through automation and streamlined workflows.Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementBuild, lead, and mentor high-performing finance team.Act as a trusted financial advisor to internal stakeholders and external partners.Communicate complex financial insights clearly to non-financial leaders.RequirementsExperience5-10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior roles such as Head of Finance, VP Finance, or Controller with expanding scopeExperience operating in a multi-location, multi-entity, and/or seasonal business (sports, fitness, hospitality, franchise, or retail industries a strong plus)Demonstrated experience partnering directly with a CEO or executive team on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and operational scalingTrack record leading M&A; activity, due diligence, or post-acquisition integrationExperience securing and managing financing (debt, equity, or growth capital) and managing relationships with investors or lendersHands-on treasury experience, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and debt structuringExperience implementing or upgrading financial systems, ERPs, or reporting infrastructure to support a scaling organizationProven experience building, leading, and developing a finance teamSkills & CompetenciesAdvanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and ROI/business case analysis skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to connect operational KPIs to financial performanceDeep understanding of GAAP, financial compliance, and multi-entity consolidationProficiency with financial planning and reporting tools (advanced Excel required; experience with BI/dashboard tools a plus)Excellent executive communication skills — able to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders and external partnersStrong leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration skillsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment with evolving prioritiesBenefitsCompensation: Competitive based on experience
